Officially Licensed USMC VMFA(AW)-121 Green Knights Patch

Officially Licensed USMC VMFA(AW)-121 Green Knights Patch — Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 121 Embroidered Patch

The Green Knights — the first operational F-35B Lightning II squadron in the U.S. military.

VMFA(AW)-121 "Green Knights" holds the historic distinction of being the first operational F-35B Lightning II squadron in the United States Marine Corps and the first operational F-35 squadron in any branch of the U.S. military. The Green Knights transitioned from the F/A-18D Hornet to the F-35B, bringing fifth-generation stealth fighter capability to forward-deployed forces in the Western Pacific. Based at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan, the squadron placed F-35B Lightning IIs within striking distance of Pacific theater contingencies. VMFA(AW)-121 has conducted operational deployments aboard amphibious assault ships, demonstrating the F-35B's sea-based strike fighter capability.

Perfect For:
VMFA(AW)-121 Green Knights veterans, F-35B Lightning II community, MCAS Iwakuni personnel, Indo-Pacific strategy enthusiasts, and Marine fifth-generation aviation patch collectors.

Green Knights. VMFA(AW)-121. First and finest.
